Qualified Aromatherapist & Reflexologist
Hello everyone, I’m Julie, a 58 year old woman living and practising reflexology on the Isle of Wight. I also use the addition of aromatherapy to the hands and feet for that extra sense of relaxation and healing.
I am experienced in using aromas and the reflex areas of the feet and hands to help the body heal itself. I like to use reflexology as a way of achieving physical and emotional health, and also enjoy helping people promote and maintain they own health.
Having travelled widely across Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, I am now settled on the Isle of Wight with my own growing aromatherapy and reflexology practice in Brading. I also work as a domiciliary carer., so generally offer reflexology on week day evenings and weekends.
I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and am insured with FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Touch is an important tool. It helps people to connect with themselves in a physical, emotional and spiritual way. This in turn helps with concentration, alertness and calmness, inducing an overall feeling of being happier within themselves.
Being an aromatherapy reflexologist on the Isle of Wight, I am familiar with the island’s ‘local medicine’, which is mainly made from locally available herbs and flowers. I use reflexology in a voluntary capacity for a health based organisation and for a local hospice.
1 year full time at the Isle of Wight college in Reflexology, Aromatherapy, NMT (Neuro-muscular technique) and Swedish massage.
ADipCT (VTCT) Advance Diploma in Complementary Therapy (VTCT) Level 3.
Member of the Association of Reflexologists (AOR).
I also hold an honours degree in social science.
